This is a short and sweet circuit workout I did the other day that I thought I would share with all of you! Over the course of the last year, I have done a total 180 in my workouts. No longer do I spend an hour running or on the elliptical. Instead, I try to keep my workouts intense, but also short and sweet. You know what? I feel even better now than when I was clocking many hours at the gym or pounding the pavement.
Partly due to a knee injury, I tried out some new fitness classes like hot yoga and body pump for the first time last year. I am so glad I did! Body pump was the class that finally helped me overcome my hesitation to use barbells at the gym. Now, I love incorporating weights in new ways into my workouts! Just like it was fun to try and shave minutes off my race times, it is rewarding to be able to lift a little heavier weight every couple of weeks.
For this short and sweet superset, I included the weights I used when I did the workout. However, please adjust to your comfort/fitness level!
