The recipe redux for this month was a fun one – healthier versions of your favorite beverages! Will came up with this wintry version of sangria the other night and I knew I just had to share. We created a fun spin on regular sangria by adding a dash of cranberry bitters – perfect for winter drinks. Mix up one of these to make your happy hour a little healthier. If you prefer your happy hour indulgences a little more on the sweet side, feel free to add a bit of simple syrup or substitute the club soda with a diet gingerale.
- 4 ounces gin
- 4 ounces wine
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 1 ounce lime juice
- Dash of cranberry bitters
- Club Soda
- Combine gin, wine, juice, and cranberry bitters in a pitcher. Stir to combine and pour into two glasses half filled with ice. Top off with club soda.
