The first time I heard about matcha tea was when my brother and his friends were raving about the energizing effects of the tea. I was impressed that such coffee junkies could be so impressed/converted by tea. Despite all the hype, I never really had to change to try it out. So, when Kiss Me Organics offered me the opportunity to try out their organic matcha tea, I was super excited.
Matcha tea is well-known for having numerous health benefits.Just like other green teas, it is a significant source of antioxidants. In fact, numerous epidemiological studies have noted an association between green tea consumption and decreased risk of cancer. Other studies have showed a significant relationship between green tea and lowered risk of atherosclerosis and high blood pressure. That isn’t to say that green tea is the cure all for everyone’s health problems, but it can’t hurt to incorporate some into your diet.
If you want a thinner smoothie, feel free to toss in a few ice cubes before blending. However, if you are like me, you prefer thick and creamy smoothies. Yum!

Hi, I thought this was a awesome blog. Apreciate you sharing.
I love green tea! If matcha tea is so similar to green tea, it might make sense for me to try it out. If the vitalising effects and antioxidants are there, then it works for me.
