Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz gin (1 shot)
  • 3 oz 100% pure cranberry juice (not cranberry juice cocktail)
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2-1 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz soda water

Instructions

  • Fill serving glass with ice, fresh cranberries, lemon slice, and a sprig of rosemary.
  • Add gin, cranberry juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with a few pieces of ice. Shake vigorously.
  • Pour cocktail into glass and top with soda water. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make it a mocktail: use non-alcoholic gin.
  • Cranberry Juice cocktail: if you can't find fresh cranberry juice and use cranberry juice cocktail you may want to reduce the simple syrup.
  • Pitcher method: Add 1 1/2 cups gin, 3 cups cranberry juice, juice from 4 lemons, 1/2 cup simple syrup to a pitcher. Top with 2 cups sparkling water and serve. (Serves 8)
