Ingredients You'll Need
- Lentils
- Broth
- Red Wine
- Butter
- Onion/garlic
- Herbs (oregano, thyme)
- Mixed frozen vegetables
- Puff pastry or biscuits
If using, roll puff pastry out onto floured surface and cut to fit your pan.
Add butter and onion to pan and sauté. Stir in herbs, garlic, and tomato paste.
Stir in the flour and frozen vegetables and cook or 2-3 minutes.
Add broth a little at a time. Bring to a simmer to thicken.
Add the lentils and soy sauce. Simmer to thicken slightly. Filling will thicken more in the oven.
